![]() When designing a game for the 360, devs -have- to figure out how to make every game function accessible from the 360 controller so they'll do little tricks like make the buttons context sensitive, program button combinations to perform different functions or program the button to behave differently depending on how long it's held. If you have to program a game to use a controller that it's not familiar with, sometimes limitations in what the game allows you to set will prevent you from getting a console-like control experience. ![]() One additional point I'll make in favor of the 360 controller is about the native support. PS3 rechargable batteries are built in whereas the 360 controller has a 'charge and play' kit, although to be fair that's bundled with most versions of wireless controller these days.
